BRANDING
An extensive exploration of various design avenues was undertaken during the development of the logotype, encompassing both typographic and illustrative approaches. After conducting a comprehensive analysis of existing competitors, a strategic decision was reached to uphold the logo's monochromatic nature, exclusively in black and white. This deliberate choice stems from the realisation that by maintaining a monochromatic aesthetic, the brand gains the freedom to venture into various colour exploration when it comes to packaging design. By grounding the logo in a timeless monochromatic palette, a sense of harmony is achieved, enabling the brand to explore a range of creative possibilities and deliver a sophisticated visual identity that resonates with its target audience.
A meticulous brand colour palette was curated, drawing inspiration from the serene hues found in nature, such as greens, blues, and pinks. This intentional selection serves as a visual embodiment of the company's commitment to sustainability and the use of clean, eco-friendly ingredients. Building upon this foundation, three distinct sub-palettes were derived, each thoughtfully assigned to represent a specific category of cosmetic products. The green palette finds its purpose in representing eye-focused products, including eyeshadows and mascaras. The blue palette represents face-centric products, such as blush powders, and pink representing the brand’s lip products. These thoughtfully derived sub-palettes seamlessly merge aesthetics and purpose, ensuring that every facet of the brand's cosmetics line evokes sophistication and resonates with consumers.
The design pattern elegantly draws inspiration from the graceful and intricate movement of water, serving as another homage to the brand's commitment to sustainability and exclusive use of ethically sourced ingredients. These captivating, coloured patterns are made to adorn the packaging of the brand's initial product line, exuding an air of artistic versatility that allows for customisation and adaptation with each unique launch or collection. The refined amalgamation of dark grey and white patterns, prominently featuring the secondary logo and a botanical motif, transcends the confines of product packaging, extending its captivating presence to other areas. In particular, these sophisticated patterns lend to supplementary elements such as the interior of the bundle box, harmoniously infusing each touchpoint of the brand experience with a sense of elevated refinement and cohesive visual storytelling.
